   A lot of the album sounds good, but is not really moving and likeable. The skits on this album, despite Untitled 4, are highly repulsive. This band is still musically talented, and thematically provoking. But kinda so what at the same time. The spotlights of the album is the best of the album Suck You Dry, Acetone, and Living Wreck/5(25).

   Piece of Cake was the band's major-label debut, but you wouldn't have guessed that by listening to it; Conrad Uno's production is as no-frills as ever, and the short bursts of goofy noise and techno parodies that punctuate the album make it clear Mudhoney were taking themselves (and their career) no more seriously than they ever had.6/

   A set of demo's for Piece of Cake, including a previously unreleased track 'Knock It On The Head'.  "In Mudhoney left Sub-Pop and signed with Warner Brothers’ subsidiary Reprise Records. Having already worked on a batch of songs, we set out to demo what we had.

   The band signed with the independent label Sub Pop and released the Superfuzz Bigmuff EP in and their debut album Mudhoney in After the release of Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, in , the band signed with Reprise Records and released its third full-length album Piece Of Cake. Before being dropped, Mudhoney released two more albums for the label.
